How to take part in Qanum during the testnet phase.

Source code access. The official repository is private during the pre-release phase, so the source code cannot be downloaded from this site yet. Public access will open shortly. To request access now, write to partnerships@qanum.org.

Run a testnet node

The most useful contribution today is running a testnet node and reporting what you see. See the download and setup guide and the user guide. Testnet coins have no economic value.

Contributing

Contributions will be welcome through the source repository once it is public. Please keep the base layer simple: changes to consensus parameters are gated by public discussion and conservative activation. New code must compile with zero warnings and pass the full test suite (cargo test --release --features crypto-oqs).

Report a vulnerability

Send security reports to security@qanum.org (not for support), preferably encrypted with the project PGP key, fingerprint 8013 E1BF F91C A30E E6A5 F273 01D9 6226 80BA FCA9. Please do not open public issues for vulnerabilities. Severities, fix deadlines, disclosure and safe harbour are described in the security policy.

Governance

Low-intrusion by design. Protocol changes follow a public proposal (AIP), technical discussion, a reference implementation, review and conservative activation. There is no tokenized on-chain governance of base consensus: the monetary layer is meant to change slowly.
